Marshall County agricultural producers and landowners are invited to attend the Marshall County Ag Fair on Thursday, April 9, 2015 between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the Marysville City Hall.
The Ag Fair will be an educational event that will provide information about important steps that agricultural producers and landowners must take to learn of and be eligible for certain programs that offer financial and conservation technical assistance. Program areas of focus that will be in the Ag Fair include: updating USDA land records, farm support assistance, loan assistance and conservation technical assistance.
The Ag Fair will offer attendees an opportunity to network and meet local representatives who can help them with their needs. Ag Fair presenters include the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Marshall County Conservation District, Tuttle Creek WRAPS, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, Marshall County Extension Service, Pheasants Forever and the Kansas Forest Service.
The Ag Fair is a come and go event so participants can stop by as their schedule allows. Plans are underway to have a similar Ag Fair in the fall of this year. For more information about the Marshall County Ag Fair please call the USDA Service Center at 785-562-5343.
