Macomber Sentenced To An Additional 11 Years After Retrail

Stephen A. Macomber, the Topeka man sentenced in the June 2010 shooting of a Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy, last week had an additional 11 years and 4 months added to a cumulative 80 plus years already issued on a myriad of charges related to a shooting in Topeka, from which Macomber fled, leading him to Blue Rapids where he later took a hostage, before surrendering to authorities. The additional charges came after a retrial, ordered by the Kansas Court of Appeals.
