8-Man coaching veteran Steve Tiernan has announced his resignation as the Osborne High School football coach and will be heading to Solomon High School for the same position pending approval from the Solomon USD 393 Board of Education. Tiernan spent four seasons at the helm for Osborne, going 39-7, which included a 13-0 season and a 8-Man DI State Championship in 2013. Overall in 13 seasons at Osborne and Baileyville B&B High School, Tiernan is 129-20 with six state championship game appearances, winning the state title in 2008 and 2010 at B&B.
