An informational meeting will be held for the Norton County Home Owned Carnival this Monday June 15th at 7pm in the Community Room of the Norton Public Library. The current operators have come upon health issues and will no longer be able to run the carnival after 25 years of service. They are holding a public meeting to provide information about the duties and responsibilities of running this Norton tradition in hopes to find someone to take their place this year and future years. The future of our local home owned carnival depends on the willingness of the community to step up and take on this important role and keep this Norton tradition continuing for years to come. Again that informational meeting will be this Monday June 15th at 7pm in the Norton Public Library Community room.
