NEK-CAP Announces Head Start Center Closings

NEK-CAP, Inc. announced today that they will be closing the Head Start Center in Sabetha, Oskaloosa, Wamego and Troy.  The decision to close the center came after much deliberation and is due to several conditions including changes of some key staff, new expectations from the Head Start Region VII Office, review of Head Start strategic plans, and fiscal evaluation of the Head Start program. NEK-CAP, Inc. would like to say thank you for the years of support this community has given the program.  Early Head Start and Family and Community Resources will continue to serve the county.  Any questions regarding the facility should be directed to [email protected] or [email protected]
