Honor Flight To Take 11 Marshall Co. Veterans To Washington D.C.

Eleven Marshall County veterans will leave Marysville on Tuesday afternoon bound for the Wichita airport, where they will join other Kansas veterans on an Honor Flight to Washington D.C. Nine served in World War II, and the remaining two were in the Korean Conflict. The two white passenger vans are to depart the Marysville American Legion at 1:15 p.m., and will pass Good Shepherd, then St. Gregory schools to be greeted by students as a police escort will accompany the entourage to the Washington County Line. Citizens are encouraged to wave their support as they pass by this afternoon, shortly before 1:30 p.m.
