TRAVEL ALERT: K-9 & K-87 Closed Over Black Vermillion River

Kansas Highways K-9 and K-87 over the Black Vermillion River in Marshall County remained closed early Monday due to flooding. Records indicate 4–5 inches of rain fell locally Saturday, through Sunday, into Monday.

Kansas Highway K-87 over the Black Vermillion River from the K-9 junction south to the Village of Vliets and now north of K-9 for about one mile in Marshall County is now closed all traffic due to high flood waters on the roadway.
