Jamestown Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

A Cloud County man died in an accident just before 8 P.M. on Sunday in Mitchell County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Wade W. Cross, age 59 of Jamestown, was northbound on Kansas14 highway one mile south of X Road in southern Mitchell County.

Cross failed to navigate a curve, lost control and landed in the west ditch.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, and was transported to McDonald-Roberts Funeral Home in Beloit.
