Three people, including two children, were injured in a harvest accident on Thursday morning about 4 miles north of Lincoln when a 2002 International semi hauling wheat left the roadway and rolled.
Jeremy Friesen, age 41 of Assaria was driving the rig north on Hwy 14 when he heard a loud noise outside the vehicle. While trying to find the cause of the noise, he lost control of the grain hauler and it left the roadway. The vehicle rolled completely, and landed back on its wheels.
Friesen also had a seven and a nine year old boy with him in the semi, presumably family members who share Friesen’s last name. All three in the semi suffered injuries and were taken to Lincoln County Hospital for treatment. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
