Street Closure Planned Thursday For Marysville Elementary Construction

Alston Street will be closed a good portion of the day on Thursday, September 1st between 10th Street and 11th Street for work related to the addition at Marysville Elementary School. The first semi-truck is scheduled to arrive at 8:30 a.m. and there will likely be trucks parked on the street most of the day.

A crane will also be on site Thursday to set concrete panels that will make up the floor for the upper level classrooms.

Residents whose driveway is along Alston Street between 10th and 11th will have limited access in and out of their driveways on Thursday. We will work with residents along Alston the best we can to ensure they have access while this portion of the work is being completed.

We apologize in advance for this inconvenience.
