The Marshall County Historical society’s spring program on Sunday April 30 will recognize the Frankfort community’s plans for it’s 150th celebration. Erin Owen will speak about preparations for the event. Also the program will include Dwight “Skip” McMillen who will speak about a house near Frankfort that was built between 1855 and 1860 by Dan Auld. After presentations and refreshments, McMillen will lead a driving tour to the house. The interior is not open for viewing but because the house is built into the side of a hill visitors can see the basement including the hand-hewn beams that support the first floor. Everyone is welcome to this program. If you have questions, please call the Historical Society at 785-562-5012
